What information you can enter on this Sales Receipt Generator template:
- Business Business name, street address, one city and state line, date, and time. Phone is on the form. This receipt does not print it.
- Money One amount, a currency symbol, a tax label and percent, and a payment line you type. A checkbox can switch the decimal to a comma. Five font styles sit above the fields.
How the sample is arranged
The sample is a left-aligned slip. The business, street, and city sit on their own lines. Date and time share a line between dashed rules. Under that are a transaction code, an MCC code, and the payment line, then subtotal, tax, and total. It closes with “Please come again” and “Thank you.”
How the amounts are worked out
The subtotal is the amount you type. Tax is that amount times the percent, unless the label is No tax or the percent is 0. The total adds them. The transaction code and MCC code are filled in for you. A second tax row can appear on the form, but this receipt prints only the first label and rate.
How to make this receipt
- Enter the business name, address, and city and state.
- Type the amount, choose a tax label and percent, or choose No tax.
- Type how it was paid, then make the receipt and download the JPG or PDF.
Membership and download
This template is marked free in the catalog. The image still shows the membership watermark. After you make the receipt, the page offers a JPG download and a PDF of that same image.

Why is there still a watermark?
The catalog marks this template free, and the generator still stamps the membership watermark on the image.
