What information you can enter on this Restaurant With Tip Generator template:

• Restaurant Restaurant name, street, city and state, and phone. The phone prints under the city when you enter one. A check number and a customer number are filled in.
• Items Each line has a quantity, a description, and a price. The printed amount is quantity times price.
• Money A currency symbol, a tax label and percent, and a payment line you type. You can add a second tax row. Five font styles sit above the fields.

How the sample is arranged

The sample is centered and in capitals. Name, street, city, and phone come first, then date and time, a check number, and a customer number. Item lines follow. Authorization, approval code, payment id, and card reader sit above subtotal, tax, and total. Suggested gratuity lists 15, 18, and 20 percent, each with a tip amount and a total. A blank amount line and a signature line come next, then customer copy.

How the amounts are worked out

The subtotal is the sum of quantity times price. The suggested tips are 15, 18, and 20 percent of that subtotal. Each suggested total adds that tip to the receipt total. Choose No tax and the tax line is left off. The total can still include that percent. Leave the percent at 0 if the total should match the subtotal. Card reader is always Swipe/Chip. Check, customer, authorization, approval, and payment id are filled in.

Membership and download
